What is this rain?

 

Okay, I’ve been told we need the rain, but does it have to rain when I want to go outside?  And why did dad leave the door open for me to get splashed.

Though I have been spending more time in his lap while works because it’s been getting colder,  maybe I should forgive him.

Chased those squirrels

 

I went out the the studio with dad, and I saw a couple of squirrels running across the backyard.  I had to chase them out of the yard.  I must have gotten within yards of them and they ran off.  Dad didn't get pictures of the squirrels, so this is just me in the studio.

Then I went and took a nap.

It's hot

 

It's 100 degrees outside, which is very hot.  And dad wonders why I lie down in the sun...  Why, it's sun, it's what you're supposed to do!

What the wet!!!

 

It's summer here, and it's supposed to be nice and sunny!  I went outside for my pawtrol, and then water started falling from the sky.  I don't know about you, but I moved as fast as this 19 years old could move

I've heard rumors that some people thought we were the same cat.  You can see in this photo that we're not.

When do I get my chance to see the outside?  And why is dad always playing with a camera?

It's a first step

 

I followed dad into the bedroom, and he attacked me with his clawrinet!  Well, he started playing it and I scooted right out of there.  I don't like it.

But he found me later and let me out in the backyard in the sun.  It was still chilly, and there were puddles from the rain still around.  But I scoped out the backyard and then went back in to lay in the sun by the door.

Let’s talk chairs.

 

It’s been getting warm in the house in my yellow chair, so I decided to move to the front room.  This chair, however, is not warm enough, so I have to warm my nose myself…

Nice outside.

 

I went wandering around the outside, it was nice and warm, and not too sunny.  Mom wouldn't let me under the studio, but I went inside.  Here I was prowling the bushes!

 Got to go outside, mom has been taking me out almost daily.  Chased a butterfly shadow. Now I get to sleep.

Happy Gotcha Day

Back in 2013, we were adopted from Project Purr on this date.  Mom wanted to have some kitties around, and she chose us.
