From here I can see the world

Mom and dad rearranges the furniture in the living room, so now it's much easier to get to the top of the bookshelf and sit near the ceiling.  Looking out the window I am sure that I could see Santa Cruz (where we last lived) if they would open the curtains.

Been awhile

Lots of things happened.  During a storm a while ago the trim fell off around the front window.  It made a lot of noise, and now there are people who are outside all the time working on it. 

That and my grand-mom moved from her old place to her new place closer to my aunty.

And my other grand-mom is  not doing well, they don't know what is wrong with her. She recently fell and broke her ankle. Not good for an 80 year old human to do.

But we're still here.  The picture is me trying to explain to mom that the Mayans believed in cyclical time, and the calendar people were worried about would just wrap around like all of ours.  I know that because we cats were around then.

water from the sky again

Water is falling from the skies again, and it's cold.   I like it better when it's sunny, so I can warm up on the couch. But, instead it's all gray and wet. Even the window inside is wet. Sometimes I lick it so I can see outside, but not this morning.

Sun is so much better, the birds sit on the wires and I can chirp at them. I can see little people walking by.
