I have heard that some people think that cats always are being self-centered and egotistical. I don't agree with this. I think that cats are only asking for what they truly deserve and no more. And, since cats really do hold the world together, I think this is a small price to pay.

As far as people who say cats are always saying "me me me me", it's not that we are demanding everything for ourselves. We are just practicing our scales.

You never want to give them the idea that they aren't necessary, at least until we figure out how to open the cans of wet food.
