The sun has come out.

And mom and dad are moving a bit earlier than usual. They keep saying something about "Daylight savings time." I don't know what that is, but it's been sunny and warm.

It's been raining all winter, and that makes it cold.  Almost as cold as the summer time when the fog comes in and doesn't go away furever!

But now it's sunny, and while I can soak up all of the sun, my sister Zazou can't because of her black fur. That's just too bad.

Now I have to figure out how to get the sun from moving  and I'll be blissfully happy.

Maybe enough to forget my plans for world domination.

Nah...

  2. Zazou, I love to be in the sun getting all toasty. I even do it on days when it's over 100 degrees. You need some practice I think. Watch Calypso because he seems to know what he is doing.

  3. You both look quite content! We don't care what daylight savings time is, either, as long as we get fed and have our sunbeams to nap in too!

P.S. NEVER forget those plans for world domination!

  4. Hey Calypso, if you get that whole domination thing working- can I be one of your head minions? I'm pretty good at getting people to do what I want them to, sometimes even happily.
    I can supply references!

  7. Well, actually, scientifically Zazou soaks up more sunshine with her black fur than you because black absorbs heat (like asphalt driveways) and your white fur actually reflects heat more. That's why Zazou doesn't stay in the sun as long as you, because she absorbs more heat faster than you. She's hot stuff. It doesn't matter as long as you both keep warm.
