Red Dot's Cousin

If there is a red dot, then there must be other dots as well, and I found one!  The white dot. 

I carefully stalked it, and pounced!

It didn't move. It must have some sort of armor.  So I pounced on it again.  And again.  It would just sit there!

The white dot must be very powerful to withstand my onslaught.

Planning away, I think I have a clue.

I discovered that if you find a contrasting color to lie down on to think, it helps. No, I'm not sleeping like dad thought, I am planning.  I think I have any idea on the way to take over the world.

I heard my dad talk about "Cloud Computing". I think that's an important thing to take advantage of. My dad says that it is going to be very important in the future, allowing people to do work without needing to buy their own computers. 

Now clouds are made up of water and ice. So the way I figure it, I can create my own cloud computer by turning on the taps when dad and mom are gone.  Then, since they are my own clouds, I can make them do what I want.  Once that happens then I should be able to take over the world. 

Zazou did point out that I don't know how to program computers. I might have to think some more on that.  Maybe a green shirt would help me solve that problem...

I have come to realize, as I look down on the world, that I have been a bit lazy in my goal for world conquest.

I know Zazou would agree with me, should she be able to see what I can see (her, looking up). 

So, I must get myself on track, and seriously start conquesting the world.

I have heard people talk about thinking outside the box.  I'm not sure what good that is, I thing thinking inside the box is much more interesting.

Apparently, he got a new camera of some sort, it's very tiny. Something called a "GoPro Hero3".  I'm a little afraid, but I did have to investigate it...

Sleepy Sundays

The weather has been warm...

Bored now

What's a cat to do. It's foggy outside and there are no birdies on the wires. Dad has been very busy, and so has mom.  Calypso can't play red-dot with me.  Sigh. I'll just rest my head on this pillow and watch the kids go to school...

V.E.T. (ick)

I have just escaped the carrier.  You can see I am not too happy about this. I kept trying to get away by jumping up on mom and dad's shoulders in the office.  Heck, I even jumped up on the V.E.T.'s shoulder trying to get away. But no.

She stabbed me.  She trimmed my claws.  She wanted to take a blood sample because of my age, I'm 10 now, but I wouldn't let her.

I don't know who these people think they are, but they are certainly not allowed around me!

Zazou just sort of cowered and tried to make herself flat as a rug, but that didn't work for her too well.  She didn't have them try to take a blood sample, she's only 8....

stretchy Wednesday

Life is hard when I have to find room on my pillow between boxes and papers...

Hair stylist she is not!

I was happily lying on dad's lap, when Calypso hopped up too.  She'll normally sit on his chest when I'm there, but for some reason, she decided to start changing my fur-style! I was mostly asleep when this was going on, but when she was done my fur went everyway.  It took my hours to get it back to normal!

Zazou jinxed me.

She wished dad would practice on me. So what does he do? He wakes me up to use the flashy box and that new lens...

Hmph, back to sleep.

what a bother

My dad got a new lens for his flashy box, and he's been practicing on me!  He tells me that it's not as easy to use because he has to manually focus it, it doesn't do auto-focusy stuff...

That and the focus is very narrow or something.

Personally, I wish he would practice on Calypso...

cardboard attack!

So, the cardboard attacked last night. I had to defend myself from it as you can see.  I taught it who was boss, I ripped it in two!

This pile of clothes would just topple over and fall on the floor. I have carefully examined the engineering necessary, and the physics required, to created an appropriate cutout to keep this pile of clothes safe.

And it's a nice place to curl up in

So much to do

My dad has so much computer stuff that it takes all of my time to make sure that it stays working.  Here I am making sure that the paper comes out of the printer like it is supposed to.

I've told him that his "photo-cyan" cartridge is getting really low, but he hasn't bought another one yet.  I don't know how he expects to print pictures of me and Zazou without any "photo-cyan", even if I don't know what it really is.  I just know the light is flashing...

Normally he has a scanner up on top of the printer, but he had to remove it to print out some papers.  Good thing too, because it needed cleaning.  Lots of fur on it.

Here I am keeping dad company while he has a cold...  We're watching a movie.

String!

The string is almost as good as the RED DOT. 

I love to play catch with the string, it darts and twitches so well.  Sometimes I have it in my mouth and I take it and the stick attached to it into the kitchen so I can get some crunchies before playing again...

We like playing tricks on mom and dad.  When they woke up this morning, I could hear mom ask dad if he stood the purrple stocking up on end.  He said no, we must have ghosts.

Actually, I pulled it out of its box and put it there, to make them think we have ghosts!

flashy boxes

My dad likes to play around with the flashy box.  He's always downloading photos of birds and such. He said he wanted me to hold still so that he could take a picture of my ear using something called "extension-tubes".  I don't know what they are, but I think my ear is clean...

Helping grandmom sort out her Amazon.com shopping.  You can tell that she's going to be really helpful making sure that plenty of kitty toys are being shipped to the right place.

New Cousins (nieces?)

My grandmom went and got some furries to help her take care of her computer, and clean house. This is Anya, and she was adopted from Project Purr which is where Zazou is from as well.

Dad says that the other kitties name is "Brin", and she's a tortoise-shell, but we don't have a good picture of her yet.  You can see the Anya is all tuckered out from helping.

I don't believe my dad when he says that sitting this close to the picture will ruin my eyes. I think I can see some great detail on the color of this painting by Anne Ormsby...

Dads new toy

Dad got a new toy to play with and he's been really annoying with the picture thingy. He calls it an iPad mini or some such thing. Whatever it's called, it takes up room on his lap, and attention from me.
